Positive social change starts with a voice.
Earthjoy Cleaners stands in solidarity with the Black community, who have historically suffered from disenfranchisement due to systemic and institutionalized racism and oppression. The senseless murder of George Floyd, and many other Black men and women by police, even after his death, are examples of the many injustices, violence, and police brutality that have historically plagued the Black community.
At Earthjoy Cleaners, we stand against all forms of oppression, including police brutality, hate speech, and systemic and institutionalized racism. We advocate for the reform of law enforcement, criminal justice, and prison systems that directly target Black Americans.
Although recent events may seem new to some, the Black community and communities of color have historically experienced the challenging and troubling times we are currently witnessing. The systemic economic, healthcare, academic, and societal disparities that have plagued these communities for centuries are finally being exposed. Those of us with privilege have been able to ignore these situations that make us uncomfortable.

Collectively, we can use our privilege to dismantle, disrupt, and destroy the discriminatory constructs that stifle our Black and brown communities.
We refuse to sit back and remain idle while racism runs free.
We are passionate about actively dismantling these racist constructs because Earthjoy Cleaners is Green America Certified, which requires us to actively use our business as a tool for positive social change. We proudly operate a “values-driven” enterprise according to principles of social justice.

2. Buy stock in publicly-traded Black-owned companies
3. Donate to organizations focused on ending inequities and discriminatory practices
4. Practice conscious capitalism and vote with your dollars
5. Research and learn ways to dismantle systemic and institutionalized racism
6. Stop financially supporting racist businesses
It is time this country discontinues the widespread disenfranchisement of Black individuals whose voices have historically been silenced. We hope you will do what is right, become allies in this current Civil Rights Movement, and use your privilege for good.
